NJ - Do you need a permit to collect WVO?

Do you need a permit or lisence in NJ to collect and haul WVO? Any input greatly appreciated.

Not true guys. I just spoke with NJ DEP this morning, and collecting WVO from restaurants and transporting it back to your property, and/or storing it on your property requires no permits, licenses, registration...no nothing. It is not hazardous waste. They told me...have at it, and good luck.

I currently operate a legal cooking oil recyling company in NJ. No special permit is required. Do check local fire codes on storager. Touch a grease trap you do require an A901 from DEP. The previous posts regarding NJ are false and they are just trying to GET IT ALL. NY you do require the equal to a NJ A901.
